Then we should be able to make it .. but cant say for sure before we get closer to the date, never knows what happens until then

In the UK, October half term is from Monday 25th to Friday 29th (plus the weekends either side, of course). I know this because my birthday is on the 27th and my birthday is always during half term week 
As for September, it's typically only the first week that's still summer holiday for people at school. For people who work in fancy schools like Tash and for university students it's typically a week or two later than that.

Sorry to say I've got no idea how to solve the issues regarding people's availlability. I think some will have to be let down this time.
My new objective will go out to September / October.
Weather is still good and there should be some kind of holiday around there as well for the students / teachers.
I'll get back on it once I have the time to really look into it. |

Mentioned before; May is out of the picture.
Due to my own wedding in May I can't really update you yet on how what and when. I will have to discuss this with some other folks first.

| That's exactly why it's hard to arrange this year.. too soon wouldn't be usefull , in May there is only 1 weekend that would be suitable and August is late.. I'll come back on this later people.. it's hard arranging things on short notice. We have a load of bank holidays here in Holland in May which makes it even harder... |

WHAT? You're expecting me to maybe wait around til August for an amazing weekend? Methinks you ask too much.
Also, don't forget, a lot of people book their summer holidays abroad that time of year. :s |
